This is a really beautiful piece of vintage British design with a lovely grain on the front of the doors as well as curving brass handles and a lovely tapering spindle base. This has a very unique sliding door system, first you pull the handle slightly towards you and then you slide the door behind the other one diagonally as they are both connected on a central pivoting spring. The inside is split into two halves with the left having one height adjustable shelf, and the right a cupboard space and two small drawers at the top. One of the drawers has some dividers in it. The left-hand door has a faint milky discoloured line near the handle. Both doors have small chips near the top and one near the bottom central corner. There is some general sun lightening to the finish but it looks very nice overall. Inside one of the drawers there is some wood effect lining that appears to have been added at a later date.
