This has a charming British midcentury style with a walnut veneer top and square tapering legs. The top has a very glossy finish and has chamfered side edges. The solid beech legs are fixed in place so can’t be removed for access. The extension leaf stores neatly underneath the table top when not in use (to get it out there are two wooden toggles that you have to move out of the way and fully slide one of the sides of the top off). There is quite a bit of sun fading on the main top surface, which looks fine but the extension leaf is a lot darker. The finish on the top is a very thick glossy lacquer coating and does have a couple of minor chips on the top.
