A really unique and rare piece, this is a lovely Danish two seater sofa that has been converted from an old 19th or possibly late 18th century antique oak marriage chest. This has beautiful ageing to the oak and has lovely old iron work around the frame with nice stamping and floral/ sun motifs. The sofa itself has a great creme and orange stripe fabric as well as a floral blue design on the arms.

This would be a beautiful addition to any older home.

CONDITION: Good condition for the age. The fabric is grubby. The chest has lots of age related wear and old treated worm holes that have been confirmed as dead. The chest is very heavy and solid.
