A beautiful late 1800s antique Danish two and a half seater Mahogany sofa in a French style. This has lovely carved details in the wood as well as nice inlaid veneer and a great curving frame. The fabric is a lovely vintage light green cotton which is in quite good condition and really sits well with the wood tone. This sofa is traditionally sprung for extra support and comfort and has a really sturdy thick pine frame under the mahogany.
CONDITION:
Good condition - This is in really great condition for it's age with expected cosmetic issues. The fabric has some sun fading. The frame has some small sections of missing veneer on the marquetry as well as some general scuffs. There are signs of a historic leg repair but it's solid. The trim has some slight wear.
