A lovely vintage 1950s art deco style extending dining table made by Davant. This has a really great retro art deco shape to it with a lovely rounded sides and curving legs as well as a beautiful quarter panel walnut veneer top with excellent marquetry. This seats up to 6 people when extended - the extension leaves slide out from underneath the sides and can slide back underneath very neatly when not needed. The sides have a particularly nice acorn shaped to them with a curving beech frame with a lovely walnut veneer inside. This is a really nice compact size and really is a stunning showpiece with lots of aged character and charm. If needed, the top fully removes from the base slightly improving access.
Fair to good vintage condition - the top has been carefully refinish and is really brought out the beautiful grain pattern underneath but there are still a few scratches and scuffs on the leaves and one small filled in section on the main surface. The side edges and frame have a lot of small marks and scuffs and the base has some discolouration due to its age. Nothing particularly stands out and all of the little cosmetic defects tell a story of its long life there is a very minor amount of movement in the frame but it's been braced up and has no loose joints.

We currently charge a flat fee of 60 pounds for delivery.

The delivery time varies from 1-2 weeks but can take more, or less, time in certain circumstances.

We are happy to quote prior to purchase, combine postage and ship abroad. 

We will require assistance if personally delivering - a two man option is available on request, at additional cost.

If a third-party courier service or pallet delivery is chosen you can expect a door only delivery.
