A vintage 1960s G Plan Astro coffee table in solid teak with a oval profile and inset glass top. The table displays the distinctive mid-century modern, space-age design of the Astro range: gently curving solid teakl tripod legs rising to an oval top with a fitted glass panel. The teak has a warm, even tone and the piece works well as a focal point in contemporary or period interiors.
Good vintage condition - the top and legs have been refinished to a good condition. There is some slight sun fading on the underside of the top. The frame has been checked and is structurally sound. The glass has a few minor surface scratches but is fairly clean. Overall, this is a nice looking and structurally sound piece.
