A beautiful 1960s mid century rosewood and steel dining table attributed to the designer Alfred Hendrickx produced by Belgian company Belform. This has a great vintage industrial modernist look with the angular steel frame with the lovely solid rosewood feet caps at the bottom. The table top has a great grain pattern and a really vibrant colour contrast. This is a really excellent example of Belgian mid century furniture. This seats up to 8 people.
The top can be removed if needed for access.
Good overall vintage condition - This has has a careful restoration as it was in a worn condition but now definitely passes the eye test with some cosmetic issues. The top has some veneer wear through on the ends which have been blended in and protected with a coat of lacquer - they are fairly well blended but visible upon close inspection. The frame has some yellow tarnishing and a few minor spots of rust but is overall fine for the age. The feet caps have some general wear. The top surface has had a careful re-finish and looks very nice with a satin finish. There are a few filled chips on the end edges.
