A pretty much perfect near pair of 1930s British tub chairs. Art Deco squeezed into classical victorian design, stylised cabriole legs with split cane backs and carved details to central splats. These chairs offer two seat heights, accommodating all in the family, a bash of powerful Deco brown square hardwearing velour upholstery on traditional spring and hessian suspension. Small in size but big on visual impact. Stunners.
CONDITION: The chairs are in good condition. There are a couple of tiny breaks to the cane. The wood has age and rub wear and some light scuffs and scratches. There are no holes, rips or stains.
