An impressive 1960s mid century British circular teak extending dining table Made by Dalescraft in Leeds. This has a great vintage look with the lovely warm teak veneer with a great grain pattern.
This has a sliding rail system which allows two folding extension leaves to be added seating up to 8 people (or 10 at a squeeze). You can store the leaves neatly under the top when not in use. This has removable rounded legs made of solid teak which blend into the frame in a really nice way. The outer edge is a nice curved trim with the main top being a teak veneer.
Good overall - The top has had a careful re-finish but does have a few minor scuffs and marks and one small filled chip on the top edge. The side frame has a slightly visible repaired bit of damage but not too obvious. The legs are fairly clean. The leaves have a few minor marks but nothing bad. The top slides open fairly easily but it's better to have two people. Overall a nice looking and solid thing.
N.B One strange thing is that the extension leaves don't fit under the table when its at its smallest but you can fit one leaf under with one extension fitted on the top.
