Vintage 1960s Desk Teak & Oak Bernadotte & Bjorn Danish EB10866

A lovely Danish vintage 1960s desk in oak and teak made by Bernadotte & Bjorn. This has a really clean mid century modern look with a lovely teak veneer on the top surface and veneer around the pedestals. It sits on an original black painted sled base. On the left there are three drawers (the central one is for file storage and doesn’t have a box inside). On the right hand side at the top there is a pull out writing shelf with a glass insert and space for pens/pencils. Underneath there is a locking tambour fronted cabinet with five pullout drawers that have dividers. The handles are a black plastic. This has a really nice chunky quality to it. Good overall vintage condition. The top surface has been refinished and is in good condition that does have a small filled in spot and a very faint darker square at the front centre. There’s some slight discolouration to the side but it’s not major. There are a few general minor scuffs and scratches on the front and some minor stains inside some of the drawers. The bottom drawer does get slightly core on the drawer above it when trying to close it but lifting the above drawer allows it to slide in nicely.
