A vintage Danish lounge chair from the early days of Danish Modernism and one of the most domestically succesful chairs. Sold by Slagelese Mobvaerk in the 1940s and 50s, designed by Alfred Christensen, this chair is one of a series to feature the high curved back and organic form sinuous curved arm. Comfortable and durable addition to the design lexicon.
CONDITION: Good condition, a few flat spots on the velvet like velour where the weft has pushed out of shape. A few sucff marks to wood. Scuff line to back. A couple of pen marks to seat.
