This is a very long and low 1970s vintage media unit come chest of drawers made by Archie Shine. It has three very large and solid drawers with great retro curving handles. The grain pattern on the front is amazing and the piece has a really sleek design and is a transition from mid century to contemporary design.
N.B. This was the base unit for a larger system and you can see a two tone finish on the top due to this.
CONDITION:
Good condition - The top is two tone with two different veneers but has had a re-finish and looks good. There are two small filled holes at the top where an upper unit sat. There are a couple of minor veneer chips on a drawer front. Some general sun fading. Overall it looks good though and is very solid with a nice sliding action on the drawers.
