An impressive vintage 1960s walnut chest of drawers made by Meredew. This has a lovely retro mid century design with angled front edges, beautiful walnut veneer, and curving hand holds at the top of the drawers with a contrasting darker wood finish. The way this is designed makes it look like it's two units stuck on top of each other with a nice inset strip of wood running between them. There are four size drawers with plenty of space, making it perfect for bedroom clothes storage sit on original legs.

This has had a careful clean and restoration to bring it up to the best possible vintage condition.

Good overall vintage condition – there are some small filled in veneer chips on some of the edges as well as a few minor age related scuffs on this unit none of which especially stand out. The top front and sides have had a careful refinish and veneer has a really nice depth to it. The inside of the drawers has a couple of minor marks but mostly very clean. Overall aside from some light cosmetic marks is a really nice looking piece and is structurally sound.

Height 94.5 cm, height inside drawer 14.5 cm

Width 76.5 cm

Depth 46 cm
