A 1950s mid century modern circular birch dining table designed by Robert & Dorothy Heritage for G W Evans. This features a birch veneer on a exposed plywood top and a solid birch, black x-shaped three leg base. The legs have lovely angles and joint together to form a nice solid structure. The top is a lovely contrasting light birch veneer with a lovely grain pattern, in a nice original patinated finish. This is a really beautiful piece of British mid century design.
CONDITION:
Condition - good vintage.
The top has some minor scuffs and marks and some slight discolouration on the edges.
The exposed plywood sides have a few marks.
The underside of the table has a few marks but nothing major.
The legs are very clean and have been re-sprayed black.
