A mid century Danish banana sofa in bold green velour upholstery with tassel decoration. A transitional banana sofa as the scale becomes lowewr and longer than the Art Deco versions, but remaining is the quality of build of frame with the dynamic curved form very much a prominent feature. Firm seated and comfortabe, slightly battered but a charming and useable 60 year old classic.
CONDITION: The sofa is in fair condition. The colour is slightly greener than in the photos. There's heavy wear to the tops of the arms, the fabric is thinning, see photo. There is a scuff patch to the front middle of the sofa, see close up photo. There are some scuff lines to the fabric but no holes or staining.
