A great bit of 1960s mid century Danish design by Johannes Andersen most likely for CFC Silkeborg. This has excellent curved edges and curved, solid legs. There is a beautiful grain pattern on the top. This has a pull-out storage area on one end for coaster etc and a pull out extension shelf to make the table longer if needed.
CONDITION:
This is in a good overall condition but it does have some blended in colouring on the top where it had previously had some large veneer wear through. A good job was done on the blending which does visually hide most of the issue even in person. There are also some damaged areas at the end on the top with some darker filled in spots. The side and end edges have some minor scuffs and slight discolouration. The extending platform has some very minor scratches on its top surface. Overall this is a very impressive piece even with the mentioned issues.
