This is a really great 1950-60s vintage Danish large teak and oak desk presumed to be designed by Ejner Larsen & Aksel Bender Madsen for EJ Naestved SKM. This has a lovely teak grain on top and a solid teak trim running the outer edge. The Body is oak. There are three deep drawers with storage dividers as well as a top pull-out writing platform. The handles are a nice, curved brass. The legs have a great chamfered internal edge to give them a lovely shape and attach to the main unit with a nice curved support. This is stamped with a makers mark.
CONDITION:
Good overall condition - The top has had a careful re-finish. There are some scuffs on the left side and some scuffs on the legs. There is a single darker scuff on the top as well as two small filled holes. The top pull-out writing platform is slightly still to open. The drawers do catch ever so slightly but are fairly east to open. There is a slight upwards bow from left to right.
