Here we have a beautiful vintage Danish early 1960s teak highboard made by Westergaard Møbelfabrik of Silkeborg. This has a beautiful retro mid century look with a warm teak veneer, a lovely gentle angled shape to the front, and lovely angled edges. It features four main drawers at the bottom. At the top there are four large sliding doors with lovely inset teak handles. The left and right doors concealed cupboard spaces each with too high adjustable shelves the central two doors open up to a mirror back drinks cabinet with three lovely green felt lined drawers below. This sits on its original base with curving solid teak legs. The base can be removed if needed for access; this is a very heavy item so please ensure you have adequate access for delivery and can assist.
Good overall vintage condition – on the side bottom edges there are quite a few small veneer chips that have been blended in as well as a slightly larger chunk that has been filled in on the left hand edge (see photo) - these don't stand out too badly. There are some general age related scuffs and marks on the front face as well as some slight residue on the finish at the top of the doors. One of the drawers has had a repair to the handle which isn't too visible. There are a few faint ring marks in the central drinks space. The top surface has been refinished and looks nice. Overall, even though it has plenty of cosmetic signs of its age it's still a really beautiful thing and is incredibly well-made with none of the issues overly attracting from the charm of it.

The delivery time varies from 1-2 weeks but can take more, or less, time in certain circumstances.

We are happy to quote prior to purchase, combine postage and ship abroad. 

We will require assistance if personally delivering - a two man option is available on request, at additional cost.

If a third-party courier service or pallet delivery is chosen you can expect a door only delivery.

Free collection is welcomed.
