This vintage 1960s large wall unit is a seriously impressive custom piece of danish mid century modern furniture. Originally built for a bank in Denmark, this has an excellent quality featuring a rich and well grained rosewood veneer with some solid strips around the edges. At the base there are two beautiful tambour fronted sliding doors that open up to reveal a section of shelving with four height adjustable shelves. Directly above there are two secret pull out writing shelves with a dark leather writing surface. In the middle there is a storage slot and at the top there is a another set of tambour sliding doors that reveal a large storage space on one side and a drinks storage space with two curving shelves on the other side.

This has an great quality everywhere and would be practically impossible to replicate with the amount of beautiful veneer used. The sides and top are painted in black as well as the plinth base it sits on. 

N.B. this is very heavy so please ensure space for delivery. It is recommended that this is situated on the ground floor, but as long as there is plenty of room it could be possible to go upstairs (please get in touch regarding any delivery concerns, we are happy to work with you to ensure this will fit!).
Good vintage condition – the exterior is very clean with minimal scuffs or marks. The upper shelving section has some slight wear on the bottom surface. There are some small covers missing near the outside of the sliding doors (see photo) The doors all slide open fairly well and overall the unit is very structurally sound and good looking. Overall, a very impressive and good looking piece with some minor cosmetic marks but otherwise in a great condition.

DELIVERY

We currently charge a flat fee of 60 pounds for delivery.

The delivery time varies from 1-2 weeks but can take more, or less, time in certain circumstances.

We are happy to quote prior to purchase, combine postage and ship abroad. 

We will require assistance if personally delivering - a two man option is available on request, at additional cost.

If a third-party courier service or pallet delivery is chosen you can expect a door only delivery.

Free collection is welcomed.
