A vintage 1960s birch ply desk designed by John & Sylvia Reid and made by Stag. This has a nice clean retro mid century look with aluminium handles, brushed steel legs and an exposed birch ply veneer on the exterior. This has six drawers of varying sizes. This is ideal to add a bit of retro charm to your room. The legs can easily be removed if not desired with one flathead bolt leaving it sitting on the black plinth base.
Good vintage condition - the top surface has been refinished to a nice condition with just a couple of minor black marks (see photo). There are some small age related marks and chips but nothing that especially stands out or affects its use. All of the drawers slide well. There is some slight tarnishing on the handles mostly visible up close. Overall, this is a nice looking and structurally sound unit.
Height 73 cm (height without legs 56 cm), knee height at centre 59.5 cm
Width 127 cm, knee width 50.5 cm
Depth 48 cm, top surface writing depth 44 cm
