A lovely vintage Danish 1960s double extending dining table made by Niels Clausen Møbler. This has lovely mid century modern styling with the striking veneer grain pattern and beautifully shaped, solid legs. It extends on a rail system and can fit up to 8 people easily or 10 at a squeeze. The legs can be unbolted for access. The leaves don't have a storage space under the table.
Good to very good condition - the top has been re-finished and looks very clean but there are some minor veneer chips on the inner edges of the leaves (not too visible). There are some minor marks on the outer edge and the legs but nothing bad. The extending frame rail is rusty but has been oiled and slides fine. N.B ideally two people are needed to extend the table as it's a bit of a handful on your own.
