An impressive 1970s vintage walnut extending Kiiat dining table made by Greaves & Thomas. This has great mid century styling with the rounded cut out holes surrounding the sides. The top has a beautiful grain pattern on the wanut veneer. The top slides out to allow a butterfly leaf to unfold extending it up to fit ten people easily or twelve at a squeeze. The legs are fixed and are a lovely solid walnut.
Good condition overall - There are quite a few small discoloured marks on the legs and the frame has some general sun lightening. The leaf has a very minor repaired crack near the hinge area (not very obvious). The main top surface (not extension) has been re-finished and looks very nice with no scuffs. There are some small visible pin nails on the outside edge trim. There is some glue residue on a leg joint. All the legs are solid with no movement. Overall a good looking thing.
