A very unique vintage modular shelving unit with a 1960s walnut cabinet married to a black painted steel frame with two wood shelves. The central unit and the two black shelves can be adjusted to whatever height suits you making this incredibly flexible as a room divider. This is possibly a homemade piece that you might never see again!
The walnut unit is a lovely mid century design with an angled front and curving sides, featuring two small cupboards and central sliding glass doors with a glass shelf.
The steel frame is really sturdy and has a nice square pattern.
There are two black painted wooden slatted shelves which are very handmade but charming in the context of the overall look. One is pine and one a mahogany.
CONDITION:
Condition good overall
Fading, scuffs, marks on the wooden unit but all general age related wear.
Three discoloured water marks on the top of the wooden cabinet.
The doors don’t open fully because they hit the metal ladder sides.
Steel frame is fairly clean without many scratches or issues and is in a generally good condition.
Slight wobble on the unit but nothing too bad and there are bolts holding it together.
