A 1960s vintage teak highboard sideboard made by Nathan Furniture. This has nice mid century styling with curving wood handles, a nice teak veneer and an original mahogany base. The side has a nice waterfall shape. There is a white malamine drop-door drinks cabinet and it has a lower sliding door cupboard, with a fixed shelf. There are two drawers, one has dividers for organising the storage.
This is a very flexible and impressive bit of mid century British design but does have signs thats it's lived a full life with age related cosmetic scuffs. It has plenty of charm and life left in it.
CONDITION:
Condition fair vintage with cosmetic defects.
Some dark discoloured spots on the top and front and some greying on the main shelf.
General patchiness to the finish.
One sliding door handle has a visible crack that has been previously glued and seems solid.
Inside drinks cupboard there are some ring marks.
Overall structurally sturdy but noticeable cosmetic age related defects.
