A great 1960s vintage Danish teak extending dining table designed by Hugo Troeds, Bjarnum. This has a lovely retro look with the pill shaped carvings around the outer frame. The teak veneer has a nice tone and a nice depth to it. The table slides open on a rail system with two extension leaves allowing up to 10 people to sit. The leaves store under the table in a purpose built slot when not in use. The legs sit flush with the frame and can be removed for access. Overall this is a lovely, quality Danish table
CONDITION:
Good to very good vintage condition.
The top has been refinished and is clean with only a few remaining light scratches and marks.
Tiny blended in section of wear less than a centimetre on the top (See photos)
Some scuffs on the outer edge but nothing too bad.
The legs are fairly clean.
The table slides open well but ideally requires two people, and can get quite stiff to close up fully. ( Should become easier once in a warm house!)
