An impressive 1960s mid century Danish teak extending dining table designed by Henry Rosengren Hansen for Brande Møbelindustri.
This has a great sliding rail system which allows two extension leaves to be added seating up to 10 people (or 12 at a squeeze). At the middle width you can store a leaf neatly under the top but unfortunately they don't fit at the smaller width. This has removable legs for access made of solid teak with lovely retro angles. The outer edge is a nice angled solid teak trim with the main top being a teak veneer.
Good overall - The two extension leaves are not original and have a different edge shape to the main top but fit very well and have a fairly similar tone on the teak veneer. The circular main top and legs have had a re-finish and look very nice with just a few discoloured spots. The extension leaves have a few minor scuffs. This requires two people to open up.
N.B One strange thing is that the extension leaves don't fit under the table when its at its smallest but you can fit one leaf under with one extension fitted on the top.
